Maintenance Works

We carry out planned maintenance works on designated watercourses each year. Maintenance works to structures, unless in an emergency, are carried out between July and September to avoid habitat disturbance. These maintenance works are decided based on Asset Condition Surveys (T98 Surveys) undertaken yearly/twice-yearly.

Reactive unplanned maintenance works such as tree/debris removal occurs all throughout the year.

If you live on a designated watercourse we may require access to your land. For your own safety, always ask for proof of identification, all our staff carry identity cards with their photograph.
